SO as most of you know today was John David's first day on kindergarten. He was very excited about going and we are very proud to report that no tears were shed this morning. He are some things he said about kindergarten.
"I was a big boy and I didn't cry"
"we have two potties, one for boys and one for girls"
"we need to wash our hands so we don't get germs on people when we touch them"
"mommy you packed me too many grapes, and goldfish"
"when the time runs out we have to stop eating"
"we walk in a line with our hands behind our back"
"why do we walk in a line?"
"why do we walk with our hands behind our back?"
"Mrs. Gottschalk says we put our hand behind our back so we don't touch the wall and get our hands dirty"
"Mrs. Gottschalk counted 12 boys and 6 girls, so that makes 18 children"
"can you call Mrs. Gottschalk and ask if I can ride the Lion bus?"
"Mrs. Gottschalk said that we could only play on the things that were dry, not wet, on the playground"
"my shoes came untied a bunch of times"
