three...so far

So as of tonight JP is up to three birthday celebrations. The first one was wednesday when Sharmila brought over a lemon meringue pie when they came for dinner. This afternoon his coworkers got together for lunch and a homemade tres leches cake. Tonight we had BurgerTex and cookie cake with my family. The weekend is just starting, so we will see how many more celebrations there will be for his birthday this year.
Every year JP makes fun of how many birthday celebrations I get, but I must say that he deserves everyone of them. I know how hard he works to support our family, and to give me the opportunity to stay at home with our children. I know the past two and half years he has gotten up to go to work, while somedays I was still asleep in bed. Then coming home to a noisy not so perfect house with no guarantee of a fresh, hot dinner. I know that for me my daily motivation is our children, and I know that he only wants the best for our family. I appreciate everything he does for us, and he deserves the best as well!
